Actually being Fergused on the long course is when I think I need to call it a day, at least from the elite class.

At the other end of the scale, there was being left in Sophie Arthur's dust (metaphorically speaking) in the finish chute at Sprint Melbourne last year.

Finish sprint doesn't count though. The youngsters and those less technically competent always put in a last ditch effort. From my perspective, I run a consistent pace throughout the whole course!
