Macey definitely made it all a LOT easier! What do you mean by different style of course setting? :)

Person who DNF'd super long rarely hangs around or talks to anyone. Usually a moderate course runner so probably just testing himself.

I thought hard medium was about right. Other than me taking the wrong control descriptions and losing motivation when I discovered that and later when I struggled to decide I was in the right place.

Nothing wrong with the long course Rob. Remember sometimes for minor events people may focus on different elements of their orienteering and aren't always racing so don't be concerned about the times. Was great fun :)

Various setters have their styles eg if you show me 3 maps I can pick a Denis L course. I really liked the 2 clusters for the Short Hard. You also used the terrain well in testing us out.

Addendum: I know when either Rob V or Bjorn M have set a course, but can't tell which one - yet.

Thanks for all the hard work, sorry I couldn't stick around to help collect controls! I really enjoyed all the rock features and agree with tinytoes (Denis' maps have nearly every control in a water feature).

I would have loved to give the ultra long a go, but kinda glad I couldn't. My fitness level would have meant close to 3 hrs, I think.

Only 46 of them so there's less controls than my club event. Easy peasy!
