In case someone is interested, there are a couple buses each day that go direct between NYC and Hanover
http://dartmouthcoach.com/about/new-york-city-serv...

There may be other bus service too though this is the only one I know of that goes direct.

by the way, the middle is Friday afternoon so you must be planning to skip that??

Thanks. I didn't do the event schedule. Maybe I'll post-run it instead of doing the sprint.

Or fly to DC on Thursday night and drive up with us.

Would be happy to, but there's a conf in Mexico I'm supposed to be attending. Booked flights arriving JFK Friday 1530. At which point 5hrs in a car will be exactly what I want.

Is anyone arriving in Boston (BOS) on Friday morning that could give me a lift up to the middle? I could arrive at 8am. So many potential airports to fly to!

There is an afternoon flight from White Plains to Lebanon (I am taking the Thursday one).

I think I'd need a helicopter ride to make the flight from WP.

Emily - I'm arriving in Boston Thursday evening but spending the night at a friend's place in Boston and driving up to NH Friday morning (although I haven't rented a car yet). Send me an email (toriborish at gmail) and maybe we can coordinate. :-)

I am not trying to push the bus but, just so folks know, the Dartmouth Coach does have 8 busses a day from Boston Logan Airport to Hanover and back.

Of course, once in Hanover (or Lebanon), it would be nice to have a car or at least ride arrangements

Unfortunately, the first bus of the day arrives at exactly the time of the first start on Friday.

What is the start window on the Friday? I see a noon start but what is the last run? Thanks
Aug 29, 2016 3:41 PM #
GlenT:
Last start has to be about 3:30p, dictated by sunset at 6:45p (rules say last start is course time limit (2 hrs) plus an hour before sunset). Then have to allow for late starting meet workers. And note that everyone can't start at 3:30. Ideally we won't have to stretch the start window for 3.5 hrs.

And there may be additional start time constraints for WRE runners.

Anyone leaving from NYC Friday morning not ungodly early?

Is anyone driving from Boston Thursday (9/22) evening that could give me a ride from Logan Airport? My flight arrives at 6:30pm. I'm staying at Hampton Inn in White River Junction, Vermont. I'm happy to share the room (2 double beds) if anyone is interested.

Tapio - I may be interested in sharing accommodations. Will you have access to a car while at NAOC too?

...and if the above doesn´t work out:
Does anyone have a spare bed (or floor space) and transportation for the NAOC weekend? I´m still not totally organized...
