I'm curious about what others are doing for accommodations at the BAOC meet over Oct 13/14 and the US Champs over Nov 1/2/3.

Kean and I are carpooling from Sacramento and are would be interested in contributing into a hotel room for the evenings of Oct 12 and 13. We're both capable of crashing on the floor.

I'll also bringing my tent and camping gear, so we're prepared to camp, too.

For US Champs, I'd prefer to stay in either a hotel or one of the cabins mentioned on the registration website. I'm arriving Thursday morning, so I'd be looking for accommodations for the evenings of Nov 1, 2, and 3rd.

For those interested in carpooling, I have reserved a car for the weekend. I'm arriving Thursday morning at 7:30am, and fly back at 5:30pm.

I'm camping at Boggs Mtn.

For US Champs, the 26-person heated bunkhouses are slightly cheaper per night ($150 for Friday and Saturday nights) than a room at the event center hotel, so I'm very interested in getting a group together to reserve one of those. Even if there are only a few of us, it's still a bargain. And of course, it's conveniently located in the park. Any other takers?

Whoa, this sounds like the beginnings of a Cascade (Bunk)House Party!

I would be interested. I'm arriving early Thursday morning via a non-stop redeye, so I'm hoping to do some sight-seeing on Thursday and possibly staying with some college roommates who currently live in the area. That would be for Thursday night.

I also have another friend from high school, who told me he might drive up from NC and hang out for the weekend. He's likes living on the cheap, so if he's coming up, he'd be in for one of the cabin spots, too.

I should also see about getting him into a yellow or orange Rec course, too.

Update: I talked to my friend, Matt, and he's coming up that weekend. I mentioned the possibility of going in on the bunkhouse, and he's down, too. This makes three of us...
