"Orienteering keeps Betty Bramhall, 93, active and looking ahead" article from Saturday's Rocky Mtn State Games event at Fox Run:

Another nice Gazette article about orienteering in the state games.
That is a very good article. The sport was well represented by the people quoted.
They and the writer capture the important aspects of orienteering vey succinctly.
The Gazette seems to hire good writers. My search and rescue club had a good article written recently as well. (It's nice to see media that's not just press releases.) The state games seem to merit this attention in the Gazette''s view; they sent a reporter the last two years. (The state games are always in Colorado Springs, the home city of the Gazette. In fact I think the games are a branch of the city government or similar, sort of a tourism promotion gambit. )
