Any favorite areas? Not sure we'll get out that far, but working on a vacation cabin near good terrain (which Jon will likely map). Mostly looking around Concrete and north of Seattle, but we do like Cle Elim woods...

near good terrain... around Concrete

Is there a specific place you've scouted? Looks like the area immediately west of Baker Lake is National Forest and topographically promising. I don't know about the vegetation thickness, though.

My vote is Cle Elum. You get existing maps, old maps, potential new maps in community forest - there is lidar now. Then area south of c e like tamarack spring and then Columbia gorge desert. Cle elum is where o is the natural sport.

If (endless) good terrain is the most important thing my vote would be for Bend OR, but presumably you have other factors in play as well.
