I was wearing the Reading Safety goggles I normally wear and could not see a thing. I cannot read the map without them either because I don't have the close up vision. The water would stream into my eyes while wearing the glasses. About halfway through, I decided to stop at each control, wipe my glasses and eyes dry and do a map memory leg so I would not have to read the map along the way. It worked better until you were close to the control. I don't know what the answer is here.

I think its contacts (and maybe a headlamp with the low light) but I haven't pushed myself to take this path yet.

I had contacts in but need the reading glasses to see the finer details. I just could not see the circles on the map in the darker places of the course.

Also, I think you logged 30 hours here...

I did try the contact route.. I could not see as well with the distance. Maybe I did not give it enough time.
