congrats to randy, hunter, greg and sergei for the victory!
4-pt results for those who didn't know:

1. "DVOA-1"
2. "CSU-2" [+5 mins]
3. "CSU-B" [+6 mins]

NYC-Boston are planning their next rematch over labor-day weekend in the boston area (probably pawtuckaway...though it is likely too late for us to get camping sites there). anyone is welcome, we are expecting to have sprint?/short/long/relay competitions. more details soon.

NYC-Boston only, ayh? What about Hamilton!!!!
I havenĀ“t talked to the others but if a similiar weekend as in Harriman is set up - a lot of GHOers would probably be very interested in coming to Pawtuckaway to defend the title. Looking forward to see what will come out of this.

Also, Philadelphia can come up with at least one team.

Hamilton orienteers are welcome, we would like to conduct this event with minimum organization, so as many menbers of respective teams can run. Family members who could help with some tasks (start - finish - results) are welcome.

yeah, I was just joking that it would be a rematch of the relay champs, and meant that I knew Beantown and NY people were already planning to come, since we talked about it in idahooo. we were of course hoping Hamiltonia (and others) would come too.

and yes, the format would be similar to the harriman weekend.

Would these be club relay teams, or simply ones organized by City?

like the memorial day event, team formation is based on closest [participating] metro area to your current residence. a relay team might be composed of runners from different clubs. regions might have multiple relay teams.

one of the original goals for the series was to encourage inter-regional elite competition more frequently and on a more granular level than US vs Canada.

This is excellent! I'll try my best to round up Team Hamilton. If there is interest GHO might be able to add a no-frills relay event at the Ontario Champs weekend in October (GLOF 3-days and NAOL finals).
