Discussion: Team Trials Scoring Lists

I ran the calculations for the 2016 TT scoring. Here are the lists:

Note that these are unofficial (I'm not the official scores calculator), but I checked my algorithms by running the 2015 and 2013 results as a check and confirmed that they matched the published scores for those years.

I don't know everyone's eligibility status, so I made these assumptions. If you think these are incorrect let me know and I can fix them.

Marked not eligible and not included in scoring:

- Sergei Ryzhkov, BLR? (only ran middle on Sun, but in top 3)
- Isak Prellner, SWE? (only ran middle on Sun, but in top 3)
- Robert Graham, CAN
- Tony Carlyle, GBR

- Victoria Campbell (on Review Panel)
- Kristin Hall (on Review Panel)
- Peggy Dickison (on Review Panel)

Only Sergei and Isak would have affected the scoring numbers since they were top 3 finishers. Otherwise I left everyone else in the lists here.

[EDIT: for the women's sprint scoring, I've changed the harmonic mean to use 1,2,4 (Alex instead of Tori), since Tori wasn't trying for the team but was 3rd in the sprint]

Both the women's and men's sprint winners (Sam and Ross) were in the top two of the overall scoring (marked with an asterisk in the scoring lists). Does anyone know who was officially named to the team on Sun afternoon?

So far the team that has been annouced has been Sam and Ross from the sprints and then Sam and Alex and Eric and Ross for placing in the top two on the scoring list. The rest of the team will be announced soon.

It will be really exciting to race in Sweden, and any team members travling via Arlanda (or really anyone coming over to Sweden this summer) should feel welcome to contact me if they are interested in visiting Uppsala and getting maps and or tourist advice!

The only people who were declared as team candidates had bibs 100+, and Evalin with bib 3. All the others were on the same M/F-21+ courses, but did not declare that they were trying for the team.

At team trials Sam, Alex, Eric, and Ross were announced. The rest of the team announcement will follow after the review panel has had time to deliberate.

Ok, thanks. I've modified the women's sprint scoring to reflect that Tori wasn't trialing (used 1,2,4 for the mean instead - Alex instead of Tori). I left Tori in my tables though, since technically she's eligible and I left everyone else in.
