Preliminary course lengths are now on the event page:

http://attackpoint.org/eventdetail.jsp/event_31636

Note we have added a green course on the long day, so if you were worried about the length of the longs, there is now a shorter option. Ed is adding that to event reg right now.

Currently, the event is nowhere near financially viable. Can we encourage you to sign up ASAP so that we can plan for things like portapotties?

If you would be willing to run the course early on the day, please let us know! If you are a non trials couple wanting split starts, and would be happy doing this, please let us know.

Finally, we are ready to start thinking about helper teams. If you'd be happy to help us out with registration, start or finish, we'd love the help. Most of the tough control hanging will be done in advance, but if you're willing to get out in the woods for us too, that would be great.

Once again, apologies for the last minute-ness. If you have any more questions about logistics etc, please ask!

Thanks for additional Green course. Linda and I are willing to help. Any designation of a meet hotel?

Becks:
No meet hotel, I'm afraid the problems with finding the sprint location took so long that most of the team had already found accommodation by then.

I know there are no late fees and no entry deadline (that I can see), but maybe a deadline would help give people that extra push to remember to sign up? I'm going to do it today once I figure out how to find my OUSA member ID number, but sometimes deadlines help people (me!) remember to do things in time!

Has anything gone out on clubnet or the team mailing lists?

I haven't a clue my ID for this. So message sent to dad as it's a family membership. I know a few parents are running so maybe club forms as well? Or a new thread with caps saying register!

You can email me and I can look up OUSA member numbers. If you're not up to date you should bring money to renew.

Allison, you should probably have your own individual membership as an adult, but I'm not positive of the rules about that.

Mostly air bnbs I think Jon. There's plenty of guest houses and country inns but they're pretty expensive. Even Ed and I are 25 mins away in an air bnb in millbrook.

What Becks said. Our airbnb is in West Cornwall.

Jon has booked a hotel room in Danbury and has a spare bed if anyone would be interested.

I've stayed in Danbury for past events in Kent. It's not a bad drive (there's even a covered bridge within view of the route), and lots of restaurants and stores around.
