Yeah! I've always liked Bong State Park. Isn't it also closer to your house than Parkside or Pets? And further from the Lake, so snow conditions might be better.

I heard that Bong also has some kind of Pisten-Bully groomer; but they don't have personnel to run it. Perhaps you can schmooze the DNR people to let you and Steve run that, instead of the tic-tak at Parkside. Maybe the Friends of Bong can help you....

No it is 9 miles and Parkside/Pets 8 miles.
They have no grooming equipment, and years ago after you went in there and asked them why they are all siting on their ass and not out grooming the trails with their equipment, they got rid of it. Thanks Chi.
They did give it to some other part of the State park system.
The trails are not that good there anyway.
Friends of Bong????? Aren't they out there walking around stoned all the time? What good are they going to do :-)
