Discussion: NAOC Sanctioning Fees

Just thought you might be interested to know that USOF received a clarification. The 20,000 Euro fee specifically applies to the European Regional Championships. IOF is still discussing what an appropriate fee structure will be for other regions, recognizing less developed regions are in different situations.

Oh good, so thus far, only Eastern European countries are prevented from hosting major meets....

Not particularly surprising given the earlier post, but I'm told that the Regional Champs outside Europe are expected to attract 'minimal' fees.

I think they're busy struggling with wanting to have IOF sanctioned Regional Champs throughout the world, while knowing that they can provide little value-added to encourage Federations to be part of this system.
