sounds just like st. louis...seems like in conferring with my DC area relatives in the past, that you get our weather a couple of days later. (which would mean, looking at our forecast, that you might be in for a ton of rain!)

Hi Rudy, yeah, I was aware of the St. Louis weather effect, but it was more useful before you could just google up the forecast. Sorry about your disappointing performance at the nationals. Still, your times are pretty impressive. I had some good runs the year I turned 60 (13-min 2-mile, 43:30 10k) but it's been a real struggle since then.

those are good times in line w my times for 2 mile/3k in the last couple of years...and the 10k is very impressive. well, in any case its probably best not to give up...maybe something will come of our struggle yet. At indoors masters a 98 yr. old set a world record just for finishing the 1500, apparently being the only one that age that had tried. 16 something minutes, still faster than most people can walk.
