Ricky, it wouldn't surprise me if you ended up running about 28km in last year's Ultralong, with all of the wide track route choices that were on Nerrina. I certainly ran over 18 and that is the length which the W21E course will be this year - but in the Flinders you can run far more directly (if not getting lost. Which brings me to the thought that there could be some fantastic GPS tracks - but technically GPS isn't allowed in a WRE. I think it'll be all right if we enforce covering the display, though).

Yeah I read about it on someone else's log (probably Samantha's) although I don't recall why I happened to look in that log at that particular time as I'd never read it before or since.
