4 to 5: When I read the intro, it recommended staying away from gullies as the climb would be difficult. With that in mind, I went right around to stay on easy climbing/some paths that would make it easier for me. Turns out none of the professionals had the same though process. Looking at the best route, which is more or less straight, it seems like the intro was a bit misleading as that heads straights through some big gullies. Either I misinterpreted it or I was being too safe.

13-14: Based on the last one, apparently it's fast running to go in or near the big reentrants. So I went near one. There's a big gully to the right of the line, but it has a lot of green and undergrowth, so I didn't want to run in it. Instead, I chose to go in the white to the left of the gully so I could keep a close eye on it and follow it while not being held up by slow forest. Apparently my analysis of the first leg helped me out, because this time I took the same route as the fastest runner. It seems like staying near but outside the green gully was a good choice.
