Is on Saturday, September 22, 2007.

An event not to miss.

But, if you want to do well there, a final tuneup is in order. And we got one! Two high octane sprints at the now famous Norristown State Hospital grounds.

These sprints are set to exacting SS standards. Terrain and map are top notch. Moreover, there is plenty of time to start a full-on taper for the main event in CT.

More details at http://www.dvoa.org/sites/sked/index.php and on the AP event page.

Sandy:
Just two.

Doh. I was counting on the three to get points for the finals. Seeing as I'm now in 1 millionth place in the rankings...

In that case, an extra sprint probably wouldn't help you much...

30 points is 30 points

you might want to save something for the finals races.

Ahh, you could smack Wyatt all day and not get tired of it.

DVOA site says they are 3 sprints :)

Two sprints due to limitations of using new terrain in the summer when it is being farmed. I didn't want to rehash the previous three sprints and without going into cultivated areas I couldn't come up with anything fresh enough for our high standards.

If you want more sprinting, just keep complaining. I'll give you 5 seconds before I chase you down and beat on you.

Nick:
so you are really fit, that you think within 5 secs can chase people down.tsk..tsk

Nothing wrong with 2 instead of 3, however as Greg pointed out your DVOA schedule still says 3, and the Sprint Series Schedule still says its a triple-header. With the event now three days away, people driving a long distance expecting to have 3 30-point races might be disappointed when they show up and are told "only 2." Last time folks came from as far as MA & CT.

From the current SSS:
(3 x 30, triple-header) Norristown Sprints, Norristown State Hospital, Norristown, PA. Saturday, September 8. A very cool place. Also a regular DVOA meet on Sunday. Meet director: John De Wolf.

Is there a regular DVOA meet on Sunday?

Sandy:
No DVOA meet on Sunday.

You're right; we should have corrected things.
