What about UW for WIOL?

I don't think Magnuson is too small. Actually, there's more terrain there than what we have mapped, too. We can make it bigger.

Also, I thought you weren't a fan of using Magnuson for SART 2016?

Tyra's XC team (Liberty) won state, btw. Tyra was 17th overall.

I support UW for any use because it's an awesome venue and map, and big/technical/physical enough to have a winning time above 30 min, which I think is too short for Long Advanced. There's just not enough interesting terrain at Magnuson to make it feel like something other than an overly extended sprint. The nav decisions you make are sprint decisions - left or right around the thicket, recognizing trail junctions in quick succession, little compass use, etc. - and there's a lot of "dumb" running.

I have no issue with Magnuson for SART per se, it's just that the map would have to be redone (though I'm very impressed by how much Jourdan improved it already). I actually think Magnuson could be a great and really tricky venue for a sprint, the key being that you wouldn't be obligated to squeeze 5-6km out of it.
