Hey, that looks pretty cool. Is it popular in Finland? Looks like plenty of competitors from Finland, Sweden, and Denmark but not really anywhere else. Might appeal to Americans with all that shooting and without that skiing stuff that's really hard to do.
The problem they had introducing summer biathlon in America was the thought of convincing the parttcipants they could only use their gun on the range and it was not permissible to eliminate the competition ballistically.
So they gave them Paintball instead.
Are the numbers in parentheses the numbers of targets they hit?
There is three figures for classic, I believe those are penalty minutes (location orienteering / prone / standing). 2 min penalty / miss in shooting and 1 min / mm penalty in location orienteering.

I have tried it only once myself and that was almost 30 years ago, but I have been as spectator in several events (MinnaR races occasionally).
