That's one issue, for sure.
Both Canadian teams should have been heavy favourites over the US ones. But that's the point of the NAOC, not WOC.

Regardless of today, Canada could have a great Friday. Emily in the Long! Louise in the Long! And I think Will and Robbie could redeem the Mens team WOC as well!

I wouldn't have pegged the women as heavy favorites. That one seemed about even to me, but I haven't looked at any advanced metrics, just guessing there. But I was worried about the US losing to Canada, so having a 4+ minute lead into the last leg made me feel a lot better about it.
