I remember reading an "Elite Guide" or something to that effect online about a year ago. I think it was posted on the IOF or USOF webpage but I can't find it anywhere. It had some good pointers. Anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can find it?

Now that I've gone about 3 months since my injury (due to a dreadfully fateful game of Badminton in Cyprus which took me out for 6-7 months) recovery with no re-occurences, I'm ready to re-start my goal to get involved in orienteering. This guide seemed pretty helpful last year in getting started. Glad the hiatus is over. Watch out for those Badminton games... lots of twisting of the knees!!

Years ago, I wiped left knee (ligament) on badminton court, then right knee (cartilage) on basketball court - arthroscopy on each. Stop-and-start sports (badminton, racquetball, soccer) cause minor swelling, so I've given those up. But I then started orienteering and it strengthend them - no knee braces needed. So good luck in O'.
