Discussion: Refurb Garmin FR10s for $50 today

FYI...these are decent low-budget GPS watches. They can upload to Attackpoint by USB. One major limitation is that they don't support any wireless accessories like HR straps. I got some for my kids last year, they like them. One of the few types that fits well on small wrists (black is slightly larger).

Relatedly, prices of Forerunners on Amazon fluctuate with some regularity, and you can often find watches discounted well below their nominal retail value. I can usually find a new watch for somewhere in the range $100-$150.

Bought two of the woot! watches, thanks for the tip, Ken. For that price, it's worth a shot, and I definitely prefer a smaller watch and don't care about heart rate.

Tried out my new FR10 tonight, and I'm very pleased. So far, I like it a lot better then my 405CX. Seems like an ideal watch for orienteering, at least for my purposes.
