It looks like this will be my entire harvest of sweet peas this year. Barely more than I planted. I expected them to go all summer, but the vines look pretty sickly with no new flowers. The snow peas were yummy too, but they also seem to be done.

Would you (or anyone else) like some Russian Kale seeds? I let 4 plants go to seed and they were very prolific. Some of them escaped during harvest and have volunteered under the peppers, but I have a huge container of little black seeds. I'll be pulling kale weeds for the rest of the summer! The tall plants have started to flower again, but I'll probably pull them and plant new ones. The old ones aren't producing many leaves.

It was not a good year for peas with the cold persevering for so long! We got more than that up here in our cooler climes, but not a whole bunch!

French beans are doing really well in the right now and they're delicious! The big surprise this year has been my beets - previously they have been small and not really worth the energy to prepare, but this year they are perfectly sized and extremely tasty!

I actually have a ton of remaining Russian kale seeds, so perhaps someone else can use those. Thanks!
