Yeah, I was surprised that I was in the lead after the first leg, especially by that much. I didn't expect Scott to blow up that early (and it was a confidence booster to see him run past the flag). I was surprised that Siri didn't tail either one of us. She's faster than I am, but I broke free after #4 and didn't see her again. My goal was to break free of Siri, so I was happy to be running solo!

It would have been more interesting had Eric run Loop A first and me running Loop B against him. I aced the A loop and bungled B a little bit. But it was helpful to know that we had a decent lead when I had to relocate to B7, because I knew that I didn't need to panic!

If I had taken the safer route to the misplaced B2 and not missed B7, we would have lapped all of the teams (or been really really close to it).

Looking at the GPS track, I lost ~60 seconds searching for the misplaced B2 and ~90 on overrunning B7.
