First leg of the women's relay is back. Samantha Saeger in a strong 30th position, running for OK Linné team 2.
Others out there following along?
Louise Oram, Cristina Luis, Emily Kemp are running later legs as well, any other APers to follow?
Following the Linné teams quite closely... Exciting that the 2nd team remains slightly ahead of the 1st team. Great start by the team two women, but Lisa Carlsson is fighting hard now!
Thanks Ross, I'm following now too
Popping in here occasionally to check the updates. Nice run by Sam...
I see Emily Kemps team in 37th after 4 legs and Louise Oram's team in 50th after 4
Ross can you flag the Linne runners who raced at NAOC last fall? Especially dude who won the middle.
I see Giacomo is running first leg for team 231
Looks like Giacomo finished at 118,,,,nice
Tiomila party at Kenny's - we saw Giacomo finish (just ahead of Night Fox's Emma Klingenberg) and look around for several seconds before finding his teammate to hand off. Boris is a bit melancholic about Csaba.
Thomas Nipen is running leg 3 for Nydalen 2 and Robbie Anderson for Goteborg Majorna 3.
Katta Smith anchored the Sundsvalls OK Jubileumslag 1995-96 to a very respectable 104th overall in the women's race! This year is the 20th anniversary of the first of two wins for the SOK ladies.
Nev - he is running 8th for Linne 1 (which had a bad first leg)
This ending is going to be exciting!!
Just saw a very determined Ross flying into the finish. Nice race for him!!
Nick and his wife Val (not on AP) of the Stars are there.
Following Tiomila? Of course, that is my favourite pastime :)
This year I spent my 49th straight Tiomila Night on site - not so many of them are as a runner though.
This year will be remembered for three fine relays and very exciting finishes in both the Women´s and Men´s classes.
I briefly met three AP:ers, Cristina, Robbie and Thomas. Too bad I didn´t know about and see the others although I had noticed some of the names in the start list.
I would say that especially the Youth relay was very fine. :-)
OK, I could second that too. But not very exciting in the end - Elias was to good for the others...
Oh - misread the thread title - thought it was "following IN Tiomila" That seems to be the key to winning the race...
