April 12 is the early bird registration deadline for the 2015 Canadian Orienteering Championships. Orienteer in 3 provinces: New Brunswick, PEI and Nova Scotia in the third week of August. Details on the registration page at coc2015.ca
Question: For juniors who will be attending the Sass Peepre training camp, and for that matter adults who will be helping with the camp, is it envisioned that they should sign up for the Hopewell Rocks sprint and Fishbones stage 1 events on Monday? Will the camp be attending these events or will it have people occupied elsewhere on Monday?
Yes it is planned that those participating in the camp (kids and adults) will also participate at Hopewell Rocks and Fishbones 1.
Fossil, more info about the Sass Peepre camp has just been posted
. And registration for the camp is now open too.
Hopewell Rocks sprinting on the ocean floor.
Fishbones in the Pits of Despair (remapped ;-)
And start of Sass Peepre
All in one day.
This could be the best day of the COCs!!
All signed up and ready for the start line!
I would SO love to bring kids to this event. Real bummer that our schools start August 10.
Mike, we would love for you to bring kids to the events. Very sorry to hear about the conflicting timing. That's way too early to start school :-)
I agree, definitely too early! I am hoping to get some kids to the WCOC's in July - its a pretty long and expensive trip, but I think we can make that happen.
One last reminder about the April 12 early bird registration deadline. It's at 23:59 Atlantic time. So if you are holding off until the last moment, please do keep the time zone in mind. We are almost at 100 registered. Hopefully we'll get over the 100 registrants mark today. To our US friends, it's a good time to take advantage of the low Canadian dollar.
Thanks so much to all who have registered to date for the COCs. The next deadline before prices increase is June 3.
