Not specifically orienteering, but this would probably appeal to many orienteers. Well, I liked it at Sheffield Adventure Film Festival volunteer briefing. Abbeydale Brewery have created "Intrepid Pale Ale" for 2015, and very tasty it is, too.

Will only be available around 20th - 22nd March 2015, in Sheffield, northern England, UK.

My favorite orienteering-related beer is Smuttynose Finestkind IPA, if only for their label: a picture of two old dudes sitting in folding aluminum chairs in front of their RV laughing.

How many times have I been greeted by such a scene, coming up the finish chute at an O event? And after such humiliation, it is nice to crack open one of these and salve my wounds.

I am a homebrewer and always looking for interesting beer names. I'd be open to name one of my next homebrews along an Orienteering theme. Although my labels/names tend to highlight a beautiful woman. I've made a Bella Bellucci Double-D Doppelbock (named after Monica Bellucci) and I just bottled a rose-hip flavored Belgian golden ale that I'm naming Rose's Hips with a sexy picture of Rose Byrne.

So I gotta think up some names and associated beautiful women for one of my next brews. I'm making a Pale Ale, California Common, Kolsch.

Ideas?

How about naming them after beautiful orienteering women? I will not suggest any here but they aren't hard to find. :-)
