FYI - The staff at Tailwater Lodge (www.tailwaterlodge.com) have generously extended a great group rate for any teams racing Snowgaine next month. Their usual rate of $159/night has been discounted to $99/night and they will throw in breakfast. The hotel has great reviews, is only 15 minutes from the race HQ and has a restaurant onsite. Call the hotel directly at (315) 298-3434 and ask for the Snowgaine room block.

Does packet pickup include maps?

eldersmith:
If anything like previous years, the maps will all get handed out together about half an hour before the start on the first day. The packet pickup will provide detailed meet notes, bib numbers, chance to take care of any activities like signing waiver forms that might not have been sent in with entry, etc.

The maps will be distributed to all teams on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 7:30 AM. Here is a pdf of Detailed Rules & Special Notes.

Great! Thanks again to everyone involved for a great event. Well worth the drive from the Toronto area and really appreciate the efforts from the course setters given all of that snow off trail. Will definitely be back!

This event just keeps on going. Fun in the snow. Sometimes there is less, sometimes there is more but all seem to have fun.
