Sorry I forgot to instruct you to have icecream between 4 and 6 pm but I think you might have picked up on that Santiago ritual. Restaurants opening around 8pm from behind blank doors that we thought concealed derelict buildings indicated that the icecream ritual was necessary to get us to that eating hour. Did you see the tall glass beers with taps? Maybe elsewhere, but that was the only place we saw them. Wonderful to follow your past weeks - reliving our 5 weeks.

I did have ice cream, but not at the appointed time.
