Discussion: Puerto Varas + Puerto Montt

Spent Australia Day night at PV - spectacular sunset. The nearby waterfalls are worth a visit. Unfortunately we were held 'captive' at Peulla (previously warned you about this) so our 5 hours ended up curtailed. Endorse your views on PM - seemed like a commute town - no soul, but thought it might have been just a low point of our trip.

Went to the falls yesterday. Today's plan is to check out the volcano which caused me a certain amount of grief (and at least a couple of other readers somewhat more grief) in 2011.
