In case you need a reson for hiking, there's a bunch of these nice "horse shoe cliffs" 1h+ NE from Geneva:

This one's Creux du Van, right next to a birth place of alcohol which was consumed by majority of French artists in 19th century.
I remember hearing about even bigger cliff around there but don't remember the name nor location.

So does the map! Though the hiking trails don't extend into France, which is a bit annoying for us poor Geneva residents.

And the geoportail allows one export dxf :)

On the other hand, it draws isolated trees as rings... and there doesn't seem to be any way of converting curve to point.
It also has the (latin) names of all the trees, so if I had ocad 10+, I could convert text to point, and that might work.

Alternatively, I draw small trees as circles filled with green.
