Are these similar to the A meet course of a few years ago?
I have a trail race at 9am which will take up at least 2 hours w/ awards and travel time to CC - how late will CC courses be open?
Similar in that it's a small area and going around the lake is pretty much the only way to set a course, but certainly not the same courses. While I'd like to get everybody on course before noon, I don't mind a few stragglers. We'll probably start control pickup around 2PM.
Thanks, Eric. I probably will rent a car to help make it happen, not that it couldn't be done otherwise. Sounds like some real quality orienteering - practice, in my case - and it will be fun to see the new take on the A-meet terrain.
@silky I'm going to be in STL but just a few days late for this event. Nov12-16. Perhaps you can buy a map for me, and we can have a Clayton rendez-vous run or beer with map/cash exchange?
I'd sure love to run the loops, even if it's without the pretty orange/white flags.
@LI - Being retired, I could help facilitate some orienteering for you including hanging tapes at Creve Couer and/or driving to another park. Of course, O' may not be your only reason for visiting STL. :-)
Erin! Of course I will get a map for you, and would love a chance to catch up in Clayton. I will email you :)
Fun and Fun!!!
Ricka, schedule is just to see my folks.... but they sleep a lot these days so I'll have time for some O and won't be missed. I'll give you a call.
Silky, thanks.
