A reminder - today is the last day to register for QOC's Long Day's Night, including the 2014 US Night and Ultra Long Orienteering championships, before late fees kick in - online registration.

To tempt you to add one more A meet this fall, here's a look at a pretty typical portion of the Ultra Long terrain.
That's only one image from a slideshow we have on the home page for the event web site or on Google+ here. There'll probably be a few more autumnally-coloured leaves clinging to the trees at Hemlock Overlook and Fountainhead in mid-November than when those pictures were taken this spring and the Oregon Ridge pictures were taken only a few weeks ago so they understate how good visibility will be during the event (taking no account of the event taking place in darkness) but the overall impression of just how pleasant it is to run in the terrain we have waiting for you should come through pretty accurately..
