Discussion: Good luck at WOC!

I think congratulating bmay on winning the North American Regional Championships in the middle distance deserves its own thread ;-)

But he's not the only one going to WOC 2015. After today's results we have the follow selections for WOC 2015 Team Canada:

Middle: Brian May, Louise Oram, Emily Kemp. One man to be determined at final selection race next spring

We're looking forward to tomorrow's Long, where the top-placing Canadian will be selected for the Long distance WOC final either in a Personal Spot (if he wins the North American Regional Championship) or in a National Spot if he doesn't.

Speaking of Louise and Emily, they were both racing in the huge 25manna relay today with fabulous results. Emily for OK Linne in 6th place and Louise for Nydalens SK in 17th place.

Thank you AZ. Had a really good race on Saturday, super-pleased to come out of the woods unscathed by the super-technical terrain (other than a few bobbles).

Surprised (shocked really) to get the personal spot for WOC 2015! Though training for another WOC wasn't on my "to-do" list, I can't quite handle the idea of letting the start slot go unused ... so Scotland, here I (actually we) come!

And, of course, congrats to Sandra, Robbie and Samantha for winning the other personal spots for WOC 2015!

And Damian & Tori Owen won National spots in the 2015 WOC Sprint since top Canadian in the Sprint is automatically selected according to our selection policy (that is an unofficial announcement ;-)

...and Damian beat Will C by 2 seconds and Tori beat Emma W by 4 seconds for those spots.
